Health Walk - Chapeltown Park

Every Wednesday Morning meeting outside Chapeltown Library 9:45am

These walks are designed for almost anyone, they are ideal for anybody who has never been walking, or is sat at home bored with nothing to do, or even recovering from an illness or operation.

Meeting at 9:45am there is just a bit of paperwork to fill in, then we will be on our way walking towards Chapeltown Park. At the entrance there are some public toilets, these are the only ones available throughout the walk itself, we then walk throgh the park, eventually coming out at Station Road.

We then walk towards Thorncliffe Industrial Esate, turning onto a path which leads us to a duck pond (bring some food for the ducks). We then take paths through what is know as Summer Hills, this will eventually bring us out adjoining Asda then it's all downhill to finish of with a optional coffee and a chat at the Cafe (just across from the Library).
